This week I sat down and had a truly inspiring conversation with tax consultant and entrepreneur Lorra Brown. From the very beginning of the conversation it was clear to me that Lorra was not the same old run of the mill accountant. She was unique and her uniqueness became more evident as the interview progress.
From an early age, Lorra knew that she loved math. "I remember when I was young helping my grandmother write bills and being interested in the stock market." Lorra's passion for numbers and money continued to grow as she did and she followed that passion to a career with banking giant JP Morgan Chase.
But Lorra had another passion that she always wanted to follow, being an entrepreneur. And when circumstances in her life led her to make the decision to go for her dreams of business ownership Lorra did what she's always done in her life, make a plan and pursue her goals until she achieved them. This is her story.
